About this so-called "New Normal"

You're all hearing about it, right?  All over the news, in print,  everywhere.

THE NEW NORMAL.

Well, I've got one word to say about all this "new normality":

Plato.

More specifically- I am going to call your attention to Plato's Republic (it's a book, in case some of you are still wondering what "Plato" means)-  Plato was a student of Socrates (and the one student that Socrates eventually admitted was his intellectual superior- but why am I doing Google's job here?  Go read more about Plato on your own time)

Plato's Republic was published in 380 BC  (2393 years ago)  - that's a long flippin time ago, kids.

Anyway- in his book "The Republic", Chapter 8, Plato theorizes:

"democratic leaders will realize that they are only easily supported when there is a war that the people can rally behind. And so the democratic leaders will unnecessarily become involved in violent affairs, creating wars to distract the people. To ensure their power, the leaders will create laws to bolster their position. The rulers will impose heavy taxes against the commoners to ensure they are unable or unwilling to fight back… And any who do oppose the leaders will be labeled as an enemy and persecuted as a spy."

Sounds eerily familiar, right? The Romans fell prey to this, as did the Nazi's, as did the Japanese, as did the British Empire, as has the United States.

Plato theorized current events in the US nearly 2400 year ago.

There is nothing "new"  about our current "normal".

I wanted to make sure everyone was clear on that- we are actually living in a very old "normal" - and one that has ended badly every time it was tried.

Keep your focus away from "normality",  and keep it glued on reality instead- the real world is a pleasant place- the sun shines, the water's nice, and there is plenty to do in order to feel productive and entertained...

Goebbels said WHAT?

Joseph Goebbels, that reviled, and universally loathed Nazi mouthpiece of Adolf Hitler's, once (correctly)  stated:

"He who cannot hate the Devil, cannot love God"

Now, Goebbels was undoubedtly a sinner who failed to understand the love of God (Which is defined as a love of all humans, regardless of race). His entire (self-professed)  purpose for being was to defame the truth and to replace it with statist and populist lies:

" Propaganda should be popular, not intellectually pleasing. It is not the task of propaganda to discover intellectual truths."

....  Ummm... Commandment number 9 - Goebbels must have missed the memo on that one.

Further, Goebbels' hatred for Jews was justified in his mind as a logical extension of his hatred for Satan, and because this justification was so solidified within his being, killing Jews became an act of Christ-induced righteousness for him. You can see the irony (and invalidity) in that line of thinking, right?   Using Christ's spirit (or his name) as a platform for human righteousness in order to commit sin (killing human beings) is patently absurd, and HAS to violate God's mosaic laws (those laws which govern nature)

Now, I've stated (factually) before that we must kill to survive. Every calorie we consume to maintain our biological bodies comes from a formerly living organism; but we do not NEED to kill other people to survive, and even if we did so to eat them, this must still be seen as an affront to God's law (cannibalism has to be a morally inferior act), because there are always plenty of non-human calories growing out there for us to eat instead.

But, let's get back Joseph Goebbels...

Another quote, in which he seems to accurately (to me at least)  define the hubris of the western political mindset:

"The essential English leadership secret does not depend on particular intelligence. Rather, it depends on a remarkably stupid thick-headedness. The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous"

This point of view is very interesting to me, because, even though Goebbels was directing it at the English, it was really an editorial directed at the "liberal" western mindset. The term "liberal" in the 1930's did not carry quite the same connotation as it does today, but if the "conservative" (or right wing) mindset was that of fascist Nazi Germany, then any mindset to the left of that (even the modestly Republican mindset of Churchill)  would be "liberal" by comparison.

So, one last quote by the great Nazi Propagandist, and noted liar:

"One of the most ridiculous aspects of democracy will always remain... the fact that it has offered to its mortal enemies the means by which to destroy it."

Which is another factual observation. Pure Democracy (the type and form revered by our current US President)  is a sure-fire way to collapse a nation, because once the majority rules, all you have to do is get 51% to believe that a lie is the truth, and the path to Dictatorship becomes very short indeed; and the US is ABSOLUTELY living a lie, and a humongous lie at that...

The lie is that the people of this country are free, even though 20% of them are behind bars, 30% of them require food stamp assistance to eat, and wholly half (!)  of them maintain a negative net worth due to incumbent (and in many cases unconquerable) debt which exceeds their liquid savings.

The debtor is the servant to the creditor - The majority of people in this nation (debtors plus prisoners)  are wholly enslaved.

I say again- we are NOT a free people. All it takes is a cult of personality to come in and exercise their suave', and voila! ...  imprisonment is freedom, mediocrity is greatness, and the lie is truth.

The cult of personality seems to be an unconquerable enemy of the free mind, and I fear this enemy has gained a foothold within America's mindset.

Neither the "US Government", nor "The United States Government", nor " The Government of the United States"  is a real person, nor are any of the above a valid State sanctioned by its resident occupants.

The government of the US is a Trust.

Therefore, such an entity is afforded no rights by the Constitution for the united States of America. All rights declared by the Constitution are reserved for the individual, and by extension, the States within which these individuals reside.

Consider that as you contemplate how such a non-person entity has FOUND AND DECLARED ITSELF to be "entitled" to murder the occupant citizens of this land with no regard to law nor due process.

Only a King (or other form of dictator) entitles themselves to commit legally sanctioned murder against thier own "subjects"

The good news is that we are very near the bottom of this rat-hole.  The climb out will be tough, but at least there will be the light above to guide us.

When a nation loses its character, its integrity, and its dignity, it begins to gravitate toward political "leaders" whom also possess no character, integrity, nor dignity...

Just a random little factoid, in case you were wondering why things are the way they are.
